A Collusion-Secure Fingerprinting Code Reduced by Chinese Remaindering and Its Random-Error Resilience

چکیده
A c-secure code with -error is one of the fingerprinting codes robust against a collusion attack. The purpose of this study is to construct a new c-secure code which has a shorter code length for a largescale collusion than ever proposed. We call this code a c-secure CRT code. Furthermore, we investigate possible approaches to make this code robust against random-error addition. Two approaches to this problem have already been proposed. One is a combination of an error-correcting code and a c-secure code. The other is to make inner codes of the c-secure code resilient against random-error addition. We propose a brand-new approach, called weak ID elimination, which is a modification of its outer code. We also propose a method to estimate whether the size of a coalition exceeds the traceability of this code.

On Collusion Security of Random Codes
Fingerprinting is a technique to add identifying marks to each copy of digital contents in order to enhance traceability to a distribution system. Collusion attacks, in which the attackers collect two or more fingerprinted copies and try to generate an untraceable copy, are considered to be a threat for the fingerprinting system. With the aim of enhancing collusion security to the fingerprintin...

With a digital fingerprinting scheme a vendor of digital copies of copyrighted material marks each individual copy with a unique fingerprint. If an illegal copy appears, it can be traced back to one or more guilty pirates, due to this fingerprint. To work against a coalition of several pirates the fingerprinting scheme must be based on a collusion-secure code. We make a new error analysis for t...

Digital fingerprinting is a technique for identifying unauthorized copy and tracing back to its user. The distributor marks each individual copy with a unique fingerprint. The present fingerprinting schemes generally have many difficulties and disadvantages in the case of large-size users. In this paper, we present a new fingerprint scheme which can be used in confidential departments where the...

متن کاملNew Traceability Codes Against a Generalized Collusion Attack for Digital Fingerprinting
In this paper, we discuss collusion-secure traceability codes for digital fingerprinting which is a technique for copyright protection of digital contents. We first state a generalization of conventional collusion attacks where illicit users of a digital content collude to create an illegal digital content. Then we propose a collusion-secure traceability code which can detect at least one collu...
